SETTING UP

Shuffle all cards into one main draw deck.

Deal 6 cards face down to each player.

Youngest player goes first.
DURING YOUR TURN

Draw 1 card from the deck, choose either
(i) The top card from the main deck;
(ii) The top card from the Normal Discard Pile
-
Do one of the following, depending on your cards you could either:
(i) Discard 1 card to the Normal Discard Pile, or
(ii) Play 1 Action card -> Play its effect -> Move to the Permanent Discard, or
(iii) Play 1 Experience Card (see regional rule) -> Place face-up for points or
(iv) Claim 1 City -> Use Travel Cards to pay the requirements ->
Place the City card face-up -> Move used Travel Cards to the Permanent
Discard Pile.

Draw more cards or discard excess cards down to 6 cards. Players are only allowed to have six cards at the end of each turn.

Next player plays their turn.
UNDERSTANDING THE CARDS
-
City Cards: Claim by paying the cost and the transportation. Each City gives 3 5 AP

Experience Cards: Play if you own a City in the same Region. Earn double the points if it matches a claimed City

Travel Cards: Doubles as both transport and Penyu Dollars. Transport can either be buses, motorbikes, train, taxis, or flight, and the value ranges from 100-300 PD. Flight cards are wildcards.

Action Cards: Play during your turn. Carry out its effect and then move the card to the Permanent Discard pile.
REGIONAL RULE
An Experience Card may only be claimed if the player owns a city in the same region. A player earns double the points if the experience matches the exact city.

EXAMPLE OF PLAY

Step 1: Draw 1 Card
Take the top card from either the deck or the Normal Discard Pile
Step 2: Do ONE Action
Example A – Claim a City
You have a City card for Penang (300 PD and Motorbike required)
You can pay with one Motorbike Card for transport, and two Taxi Cards for cost.
Example B – Play an Experience
You own a Northern City (Penang). You have a Perak Experience Card. You can choose to play that Experience Card.
Example C – Play an Action Card
You have an Action Card “Lucky Draw Winner”. Play out the effect on the Action Card “Draw 3 cards and discard any 3 cards”. Move the used Action Card to the Permanent Discard pile.
Example D – Discard
Discard one unwanted card to the Normal Discard pile
Step 3: Maintain 6 cards
If you have more than 6 cards, discard down to 6. If you have less than 6 cards, drawn more cards until you have 6.
Next player plays their turn.
END OF GAME & SCORING
1. Decide when the game ends:
(a) When the deck finishes
(b) When time is up (e.g. after 20 minutes)
(c) When a Player reaches a specified number of cities or points (e.g. first to 15 points or first to 3 cities)
2. Count only face-up Cities & Experiences. Cards still in hand don’t score.
3. Player with the highest number of Adventure Points wins. If a tie break is needed then the player with the most Cities wins.
