The core gameplay revolves around collecting City and Experience cards to complete your Malaysian adventure. Players navigate through various states, gathering heritage and nature-themed cards while managing their resources strategically. To win, players must balance their travel goals with sustainability awareness, ensuring their journey respects Malaysia’s natural heritage and cultural identity.
 
To add excitement and tactical depth, the game features Travel and Journey cards. These cards introduce dynamic interactions, allowing players to boost their progress or navigate through travel challenges like sea turtle conservation missions. The gameplay is designed to be fun and interactive, connecting friends and families through a shared love for exploration.
 
Authentic Malaysian Artistry Penyu Quest is a "Gallery in a Box." Featuring a special Artist Card, the game showcases original, breathtaking illustrations by renowned Malaysian contemporary artists Kide Baharuddin and Ika Shahrom in collaboration with Galeri Putih.
